Maja Ćirić is a performance-driven, award-winning executive with 23 years of experience across corporate and nonprofit sectors. From her early days at Daimler AG in Europe to her leadership roles in the U.S., Maja has built a career rooted in growth, strategy, and purpose.
At Daimler, she spent over a decade in marketing, communications, and international business development. There, she honed her skills in a fast-paced, global environment—working with top-tier brands like Mercedes-Benz and developing a deep understanding of strategy, branding, and cross-cultural leadership. She organized a wide range of high-impact events, including international trade shows, press conferences, new model launches, VIP customer experiences, and regional management meetings.
After relocating to the U.S., Maja co-founded Klassikum with her husband Sinisa—a boutique creative studio and consulting agency focused on elevating missions through strategy, storytelling, and soulful execution.
Driven by a passion to build and grow, she joined Step One Automotive Group in 2018 at the launch of its operations. Through her dedication and visionary mindset, she played a key role in the company’s remarkable ascent over five years. Step One became a $1 billion enterprise, ranking among the top 100 dealership groups out of 18,000 in the United States.

She most recently served as Chief Development Officer at Second Harvest of Coastal Georgia, a regional food bank serving 21 counties. There, she led fundraising, strategic communications, and the organization’s first major rebranding campaign, strengthening community partnerships and increasing visibility and donor engagement.
Maja’s contributions extend far beyond her professional achievements. She is deeply committed to community service, and her selfless efforts have earned her several civic awards recognizing her impact and leadership. In 2025, she was honored as Connect Savannah’s Best All-Around Savannah Resident—a title that speaks to both her heart and her fire.
Her journey is a testament to the power of dedication, resilience, and a commitment to making a difference. She is a devoted wife and mother of two, as well as a proud bonus mom to one amazing son. Maja lives her wonderfully unbalanced, joy-filled life in Savannah, GA—with passion, grace, and enthusiasm.
